I received my first pen as a gift from my first superior when I was a retail sales assistant.
It was a Parker ball pen and I was 18 after finished my secondary education.
Twelve years later, I received a similar gift from my current boss recently and it is a pen too.
Why bosses like to give pen as a gift to employee? I wonder.
It was a nice pen made by Cerruti 1881.

A lot of businesses and executives like to give pen sets to people because it is assumed that the gift is a professional tool that will come in useful to the receiver.
